Let me introduce myself
My name is A.J. and I’m so happy you are here! For as long as I can remember, I have been in love with event planning. This includes being way over the top whenever I am planning parties. I’m talking “Christmas themed sleepovers with tents for my daughter’s dance team” over the top.
With this passion for events, I am so thrilled to dive into the venue space and provide a beautiful spot for your parties. From the inquiry process to clean up, I am thrilled to be part of your special event, whether it’s a baby shower, birthday party, or even an intimate wedding. My goal is to make this process as seamless as possible for my clients in hopes to celebrate with you for years to come!

Our Story
Would you believe it if I said - we actually didn’t dream up Lily + Aster First? It’s a crazy thought now - but Lily + Aster actually came second in our story. Our building was purchased to put a Model Railroad Club in the 1st level. In this process, we brainstormed how to bring this building back to life. It was super important to me that this building continued serving the public, as it has for so many years. We completely remodeled the space that once was the children’s library, and made it the new home of Lily + Aster.
Why Lily + Aster?
You might be wondering how I chose the name Lily + Aster. This name is so close to my heart. I have two daughters, born in July & September. July’s flowers are the Larkspur and Water Lily, while September’s is an Aster. While Larkspurs are beautiful, I didn’t think it had the same ring to it as Lily + Aster.
